Check on iPhone
Confirm eSIM support and carrier lock status from iOS settings.
1
Open Settings
Go to Settings and select Mobile Service or Cellular.
2
Look for Add eSIM
If “Add eSIM” is available, your iPhone supports eSIM installation.
3
Check carrier lock
Go to Settings, General, About and find Carrier Lock. It should say “No SIM restrictions.”
Check on Android
Android menu names may vary depending on the manufacturer.
Open your dial pad and enter
*#06#
Look for an EID number. If an EID is shown, the device usually includes eSIM hardware.
Some carrier-specific or region-specific versions of a compatible model
may have eSIM disabled.
